This page serves as a portal for information regarding both domesticated pets as well as wild animals that are native to our area.  The information found here by no means covers every type of animal or every type of encounter that may occur, but rather provides a general overview of common pets and wildlife that frequent rural communities such as ours.

We promote a healthy and sustained ecosystem, and our animal friends are an important piece of nature and our community.  Learning to live with them and among them will provide the best of both worlds for us all.
